Which program suits you?
- 1 Step Nitro / Nitro Pro: For confident traders wanting fast funding with a single phase.
- 2 Step Standard / Speed: For traders who prefer classic 2-step evaluations with more breathing room.
- Nitro X: Semi-instant style model with no traditional phase structure and lower profit target.
- Instant Standard / Pro: For traders who want to skip evaluation and start earning from day one.
Leverage
Leverage at Funded Trader Markets depends on the challenge type, not the asset class. Below is an overview of maximum leverage by program:
| Program | Leverage |
|---|---|
| 1 Step Nitro / Nitro Pro / Nitro X |
1:30
|
| 2 Step Speed / 2 Step Standard |
1:50
|
| Instant Funding (Standard & Pro) |

Commissions
| Forex & Commodities | $7 per lot (round-turn commission) |
|---|---|
| Indices | No commission |
| Crypto | No commission |
Indices and crypto are commission-free, which makes them attractive for active day traders. For FX and commodities, the $7/lot round-turn fee is industry standard and should be factored into scalping or high-frequency strategies.
Consistency Rules
Funded Trader Markets uses a consistency rule to filter out “one-lucky-day” trading and reward stable performance.
- Challenge Phases (1-Step & 2-Step): No single day should represent more than 50% of total profits.
- Funded Stage: Your best day must not exceed 45% of total profit.
- Instant Funding Accounts: Tighter rule — best day must not exceed 20% of total profit.
If your best day is too large compared to total profits, you will have to keep trading until the consistency ratio improves before requesting a payout.
Core Firm Rules
Allowed & Restricted Strategies
- Martingale & Layering: Allowed, but only within a single account. Mirroring the same setup across multiple accounts is considered manipulation.
- You may open similar orders (e.g. XAUUSD) across your accounts, but timing must respect their internal rules (e.g. syncing within a limited window). Breaking these rules can void payouts on those trades.
- High-Frequency Trading (HFT): If more than 20% of your trades are opened and closed within 1 minute, any profits from <1 minute trades will not count toward payouts.
Minimum Trading Days
- Challenges: No minimum trading days for Nitro, Nitro Pro, Nitro X, 2 Step Speed or 2 Step Standard.
- Funded Stage: At least 5 trading days with minimum 0.5% profit per profitable day.
- Instant Funding: Also requires 5 trading days, unless an add-on (Instant Pro) removes that requirement.
Margin Calls & Overexposure
- If your account hits a margin call, all open trades are automatically closed. This is not necessarily a rules breach, but it will impact your equity and drawdown.
- Traders are encouraged to use the firm’s margin calculator and avoid over-leveraging.
Trading Bots (EAs) & Cheating
- EAs and algos are allowed, but not if they exploit server inefficiencies or pricing errors.
- Banned bot types include: HFT bots, news scalpers, latency or reverse arbitrage bots, tick scalpers, demo exploiters, account mirroring/group coordination bots.
- Copy trading from another trader’s account is strictly prohibited. Copying between multiple FTM accounts as part of a group strategy is also not allowed.
- Accounts using banned bots or cheating behaviour may be terminated with forfeiture of profits and no refund.
Prohibited Practices
- Group trading or coordinated trading across multiple accounts/firms.
- Reverse trading between accounts (e.g. long on one, short on another).
- Hedging across different prop firms or multi-account hedging schemes.
- Exploiting data delays, feed errors or corporate actions in a way that manipulates the simulation.
- Selling or buying account management services, or letting others trade your account.
- Sharing login credentials or trading from multiple users.
News & Weekend Trading
Funded Trader Markets is relatively flexible around news and weekend trading compared to many firms.
- News Trading: Allowed across programs. You can trade during economic releases, but high volatility, slippage and spread widening must be considered.
- Weekend Trading: Weekend trading and holding is allowed (especially useful for swing traders). Crypto can be traded over the weekend.
- Even though news trading is allowed, traders are encouraged to manage risk carefully and not rely on news spikes as their sole strategy.
Payout Policy
Funded Trader Markets focuses on fast, flexible payouts with on-demand requests and a unique 24-hour payout guarantee.
- Payout Type: On-demand payouts (no fixed cycle windows).
- Profit Split: Up to 100% on challenge-based funded accounts; up to 80% on instant funding.
- Minimum Payout: At least 1% of starting balance and all trades must be closed at the time of request.
- You must also meet the consistency rule and minimum trading day requirement for your account type.
- Average payout time is under 2 hours.
-
If your payout (under $1,000) is not processed within 24 business hours,
you may receive:
- Double the payout amount, and
- A free challenge account of the same size.
- You must respond to any payout-method change requests, and 24h is measured in business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00 EST).
Payout Methods
- Crypto: USDT (ERC20 / TRC20), plus other crypto via networks like Tron, Arbitrum, Polygon, etc.
- Rise: Payouts via Rise can be withdrawn as USDC (Arbitrum) or bank transfer.
Always double-check wallet addresses and payout details. Incorrect information can lead to failed or lost transfers that the firm cannot recover.
- After your third successful payout, you can receive a performance bonus equal to your original purchase fee (or more if you used a promo code).
- This bonus does not apply to Instant Funding or 1 Step Nitro X accounts.
Scaling Plan
Funded Trader Markets runs a structured scaling plan designed to reward consistent traders with larger account sizes, improved drawdown and even a monthly salary. The plan has three tiers: Pioneer, Legend and VIP.

The scaling plan is designed for traders who want long-term growth with a firm, not just one-off payouts.
IP, VPN & Security Rules
- Your IP address must remain consistent in geographical location across both evaluation and funded stages.
- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data is allowed, as long as you remain in the same regional area (same city or nearby).
- Frequent or large geographical IP shifts can cause account review or suspension for security reasons.
- If you expect travel or connection issues that may change your region, contact support before trading.
- VPN usage is generally discouraged or restricted for KYC and purchase; KYC country must match IP country.
Restricted Countries
Funded Trader Markets does not accept traders from some countries due to sanctions and regulatory restrictions.
Additionally, MT5 services and related content are not intended for U.S. residents or regions where such services would violate local regulations.
Additional Information
Funded Trader Markets is built for traders who want flexibility: news trading, weekend holding, swap-free conditions, on-demand payouts and no hard time limits in most programs. In return, the firm expects discipline around consistency, risk, and strategy fairness.
