Consistency Rules
- QT Prime (2 & 3 Step): 35% consistency is optional, but becomes mandatory if you want On-Demand payout and 100% profit split.
- QT Power: Both evaluation and funded phases must maintain a 35% consistency score.
- QT Instant: At withdrawal time, no single trading day is allowed to contribute more than 25% of total profit.
Firm Rules
Expert Advisors (EA) & Trade Copiers
- Only risk-management EAs are allowed and must be pre-approved via passes@qtfunded.com.
- Web/software-based trade copiers are permitted after approval. If your account is flagged, QT may request extra details about master accounts and copier setup.
Copy Trading & Allocation
- Copying is only allowed between accounts you personally own (broker or other prop firms included).
- Total max allocation: $400,000 across all evaluation, qualified and Instant accounts.
- Below $400k – you can copy trades and use the same strategy across accounts.
- At or above $400k – you can still hold multiple accounts, but must use different strategies and instruments.
- Breaking allocation/copy rules can lead to termination and loss of profits.
- QT Instant has its own cap: $99,000 max allocation (with one 100k Instant exception, which cannot share the same strategy or copier with other accounts).
- QT Instant allocation also counts toward the global $400k cap.
QT Funded is also integrated with Prop Firm One (PF1), which lets traders copy trades between different prop firms inside one platform while respecting QT’s core rules. Learn more at: https://propfirmone.com.
No Group / Toxic Trading
- If multiple traders are detected running identical EAs and trades, this is treated as “group trading” and can trigger account closure.
Excessive Exposure
- Risking more than 75% of allowed daily / max drawdown or lot limits in open positions can cause your evaluation to be reset back to phase 1 once you pass.
Prohibited Trading Styles
- Latency arbitrage, tick scalping, high-frequency order spamming, reverse trading, group hedging and one-sided “all in” style behavior.
- Any behaviour marked “toxic” by the risk desk can be penalised even if not explicitly listed.
- Account management services are not allowed – only the KYC’d trader may operate the account.
Inactivity Rule
- No trading for 30 consecutive days = account is breached and deleted. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
Code of Conduct
- No abusive, racist, threatening or harassing behaviour towards staff or community.
- No targeted negativity designed to damage QT or stir fear/uncertainty.
- Breaches can lead to permanent bans and forfeiture of any active accounts and simulated profits.
VPN / VPS / Device Rules
- VPNs and VPS are allowed, but credentials must always be secured.
- Multiple IPs and devices are okay as long as only the verified trader is actually trading.
QT Prime Rules
Minimum Trading Days
- Evaluation: At least 4 active trading days per phase.
- Funded (first payout cycle): 4 trading days with minimum 2 profitable days, each at least 0.5% profit.
- Trading activity should show a steady strategy and realistic position sizing.
News Trading
- Evaluation: News trading allowed, no extra restrictions.
- Funded: No opening/closing/modifying positions or pending orders inside the 5-minute window before and after high-impact news. Violations = hard breach.
Gambling Risk
- Evaluation: No fixed risk cap but you must still respect the 75% over-exposure rule mentioned above.
- Funded: You must not expose more than 2.5% of starting balance at any one time.
QT Power Rules
Minimum Trading Days
- Evaluation: 4 trading days required per phase.
- Funded: No minimum trading day requirement.
News Trading
- Allowed in both evaluation and funded phases.
Max Risk per Trade
- Maximum allowed risk across open trades is 2% of account balance (hard breach if exceeded).
QT Instant Rules
Minimum Trading Days
- At least 5 separate trading days required before you can request a withdrawal.
News Trading
- Same 5-minute restriction as QT Prime funded: no order changes 5 minutes before/after high-impact news. Breaches are hard violations.
Layering
- You cannot hold 3 or more open positions at the same time on the same asset (layering rule).
Max Risk Rule
- Maximum allowed risk per trade: 2%. Exceeding this results in a hard breach.
Payout Policy
- QT Instant: 80% profit split, payouts every 14 days. You need at least 5% profit to request a payout.
- QT Prime: Bi-weekly payouts with 80% split by default. On-Demand with 100% split is possible if 35% consistency is met.
- QT Power: On-Demand payouts with 80% split once minimum requirements and consistency are satisfied.
- Minimum payout: 1% or $100 (whichever is higher). For QT Instant, 5% profit is required.
Scaling Plan
QT Funded runs a 10% milestone-based scaling system where both account size and profit split can increase, and a monthly salary is possible at higher tiers.

- 10% total profit achieved within an 8-week window.
- Account must be in profit when requesting scaling.
- Account must not have dipped below a 3% drawdown at any point.
